Zope 2.7 has been in development for almost a year. It's overshot its release date by something on the order of 11 months. It's still not released yet. Beta 3 has been delayed by several weeks now. With that in mind, somehow this strikes me as funny :

  We need to get 2.7 and 2.8 out the door as soon as we can so we can get working on 2.9.
